    Default Vestiniah City

    hi all,
    i chalenge myself to draw a city map. i'm pretty happy with the result !!!

    I used Sakura micron pen ( 005 / 01 / 03 ) and for the shading Winsor & Newton Brushmarker : cool grey 1,2 and 3 !!
    hand drawing then scanned with my new scanner ( espson V39)

    What do you thing about this new style map ?

    Pretty impressive, however I do have to say that the hills are a little hard to figure out when they get close to each other, Have you tried to have long lines and small lines?
    Say, what's that star in a circle? At first I thought it may be a well but with the river already there I don't know.

    I can see what Elterio means. Otherwise however it's an interesting style. I think I would include more hill lines and vary their width a bit more so that they taper. Nice work though.

    Elegant and easy to read, very nice.

    hi all, and thank you for your comments .
    The circle with the star inside is a statue ( I used to use this symbol in the dungeon )

    The hill are a problem for me too ... i don't understand what you mean with short and long lines ??

    Very nice map. The lands/hills could certainly be improved (maybe by a strong hatching as in the 18th & 19th century styles?). The rest is very well done anyway!

    Oh thanks, now i can see what you mean, and i'll try this !! the second is amazing !!! i like the cross hatching building !!! and the hills are very impressiv
