    Have been working on this for some time, am in the coloring stages now. Especially those two southern islands/small continents need a bit more lushness to them as they are largely tropical.

    Not happy with that equatorial line. Will most likely completely remodel that. The territory shown here is about 1/3 of the world, a decision we, that is the client and I, arrived at after I tried my very best to shuffle things around to have them somehow make sense from a climate POV.

    It's looking good but I'm not fond of the wavy shading of the forests, though.

    Update. Got almost all of the locations set.

    Ilanthar, as for the forest shading, it's just two diagonal overlay layers (light and shade) placed over the base lighting and shade (shade on the bottom of each forest, lighting from above, both as straight gradients).

    Very nice so far.

    I just think how the forest shading is diagonal is a bit strange..

    I don't know, I thought it made the whole thing look a bit more vibrant than with the usual horizontal shading/lighting setup.
