Is there software that will let me copy maps and making them larger ?

I was wondering what kind of software would let me copy a map and blow it up without loosing quality and possibly improving quality.....

The best would be to work with vector graphics (Inkscape or Illustrator if you have the budget). That way, you can zoom without loosing details.

If you use raster graphic made with pixels, everytime you enlarge them, you stretch it, making it blurry.
Actually, there is an option with Photoshop to increase the size of the map without blurring it but it still only stretches the map.

There is no way to improve quality without adding details manually. Unless you use something to generate new elements automatically like by using fractals.
