    Post Unnamed world, criticism appreciated

This is a map i did a while back. Never mind the name, cause they no longer match. The idea and thus the name of Teyrnas will receive a new map in the future.

Anyway, I'm not really happy with the mountains, cause the don't really fit in with the style. In later versions, I've used another techique that is a bit more subtle and doesn't look at all like these mountains. The forests arent perfect either, they could have been a lot denser.

    Well, what do you think?

Is this a work in progress or is it finished? Do you have a bigger version?

Anyway, the map has a very simple style (just a few colors and icons) but I like it. The mountains look ok, the forests are too small for me to say anything about.

You should think about making the sea less cloudy. And use lighter colors.

True dat... but that style would get lost at the scale of the image posted, so it's not worth it... besides... I don't think that water style would fit this map anyway...

You are of course right. I was mostly supporting Hoel's reply with some evidence that he knows what he is talking about

I don't know if you meant to exclude them, but i can't see any rivers on your map! You should put some in, as it will help you divide the world into factions later on...
