Must've been something with the firewall at work, I'm at home now and can pull them up fine. *shrugs* At least I got to see them finally and they are coming along nicely.

I right click every single link and "open in new window"....without fail, for everything (I get lots of open windows) and they load up a bit slow but otherwise fine. About all I can really say is maybe add a light wash of green for land and blue for water...very pale...just to get rid of all that white. Could just be me tho.

Thanks all for your comments, really encourages me to go on with it, even though it's a lot of work (even though the main part of the job has been done before the challenge even starts - I can see the work wasn't useless, now ^^).

About what ascension said, the idea could be fine but I really like the "clean & clear" look of it, mainly when printed (i did a few printing tests in A3 at work to test the colors when I discovered that different screens and softwares displayed the map different ways). But if other people tell me the same, I could consider trying this option...

Tell me what you think of it - I'm currently trying to test different options for the deserts.

I do agree with ascension. It looks a bit too bland and some color would spruce it up nicely.

Count me in too...not to much color though, like Ascension said just enough to differentiate the landmass(es) from the water.

Well Korrigan, you finally completed a challenge. We really wish you could have waited until the start of the challenge to start your challenge, ahem, but you haven't been disqualified for it.

I agree with the others that more color would make this map pop more.

Good luck in the upcoming voting!

Hi there. Thanks for your comments and support ! I tried the map with color on it, it doesn't look bad, but I think that, on this particular map, it affects the readability, which was my main objective since it is intended as a playhelper.

So I think this one is gonna go through the voting process as it is now.

NB: By the way, thanks for not disqualifying me...
