Wip As of yet unnamed world

The attached is my attempt at following Ascension's World Map tutorial. I don't feel like some of the mountain's are in quite the right places, but overall, I'm very satisfied with the results and want to thank Ascension for his amazing tutorial.

I have some ideas kicking around for political boundaries and the such, but I wanted to get something up today in the name of anti-procrastination.

    Comments/criticism are greatly appreciated.

Oh, and there's no rivers. I'll get to them later, I may even simply wait on them until I do regional maps of some of the areas.

Wow, that's a fantastic shape! I love it. If you want to get your mountains in better places, use the lasso tool and at the top of the screen, set the feather to 20 px or so then lasso a mountain chain and drag them wherever you want them...probably in the middle of the landstrings (landmasses would sound kind of strange for this shape ) Good show, good show.

Looks very cool, and having played with that tutorial a bunch myself I don't think you necesarily need rivers unless like you said you zoom-in to do a more regional level map.

Looking forward to seeing more on this.
