    Wip Dungeon (AutoREALM/GIMP) WIP

Alright, as my online game continues. Our heroes have discovered a lever and pulled it (oh how I love heroes). Behind the chapel's pulpit a hidden stair appears, descending into darkness.

Welcome to the start of my simple dungeon created in AutoREALM and "exported" via a print screen... this is ~15 minutes of work as I was consulting my simple Chapel to figure out how big to make the staircase.

I'll be expanding on this over my lunch hour today

I'm hacking my way into the cartographical realm with AutoRealm, AutoCAD, GIMP, and Google Sketchup as my tools!

having their skulls split, as a general thing."

Work has been busier than expected (which is overall a good thing) so only have added a few more rooms and text

Alright finished the line drawing... need to add detail but its a start at least. The area is where the priests of the temple/chaple above actually lived.

Alright, so I got to working with GIMP again and figured I'd give this map a go with it. I used Ghalev's tutorial to guide me.

Thanks, there's no school like the old school!

I'll have to see about getting some good brushes for Gimp and flesh this map out this weekend.

A little more work done, using GIMP, added some tables and a hole to the next level.

Alright last update for today, added some more breakables and a mysterious circle.

Oh and here's the "player handout" for the circle. This was made from some Arcane Circle brushes I found on Deviant Art.

Hmmm: I liked the minimalistic / old school versions more.

I'm not digging the fills on the various piece of furniture and such... was messing around trying to see if I could differentiate between them or not.

And the tomb/crypt that is below this level...

Alright, so here's my Q to the masses, does anyone have a good brush/pattern/etc for rubble? I'm pondering doing the northern side of my crypt as a natural cave.
