Maybe you could add a narrow strip of beach and/or rock that blends into the water - Not sure. No one else seems to think it's an issue so maybe it's just me.

my suggestion would be to fix some of the river problems. The two lakes in the north are linked by rivers and both drain to the sea.

I love this map.
The water looks perfect, I love how you blended the streams into the map, they look very realistic.
The tiny boats are a very nice addition!
It looks really great. The only issue I see, if I had to pick something is a verisimilitude question:
The first thing I think when I look at the map is: When people visit the islands out in the bay, do they just beach their boats?
