    Hi all, i“m beginning to work in a napoleonic map, any idea of brushes or elements apropiated for this era? Thanks!

    I've looked for stuff like that too with no luck.
    It's either fantasy or modern, nothing in between.
    I anyone can find me some decent musketeers, pikemen and cavalry in tricorn hats I'd bust out a map of the battle of Poltava that would blow your mind!

    There are quite a lot of real Napoleonic era maps there. At least they are a good inspiration.

A short historical description in Icelandic and English is available for most of the maps. They are based on the book Kortasaga Ķslands (A history of cartography of Iceland) by Haraldur Siguršsson.
