Thread: Hello CG

    Post Hello CG

Some of you may know me as the guy who makes tokens at Four Ugly Monsters, but I also enjoy making maps for my campaigns. They aren't as good as a lot of the ones posted here. So I'm hoping to learn a lot form the guys here and maybe offer something in return.

Hi Devin. Certainly don't do your maps down - they are great - and the tokens are something of a godsend for those of us who use VTTs. Great to see you over here. Welcome.

    Welcome to the Guild!

    And Torstan, don't you mean:

Certainly DO your own maps, not Certainly DON'T do your own maps?

    Praise Welcome Devin!

Welcome Devin! Have some REP just for what you do!

The only indirect connection I have to you, is Profantasy offered me a commission on map objects - I had no idea what to charge for map objects. Commission map prices, I know, not for a set of symbols. So I looked at what you charged for custom map objects, and told Profantasy, "$4 each". I got the commission! So, thank you for that!

I hope you enjoy your time here, we all do. We can certainly show you a thing or two on maps, but you better give us the skinny on super map objects!

NK, shouldn't Devin have an Industry Pro tag? And Gray name color?

    GP

PS: NK, I think Torstan worded correctly, meaning "don't put down your maps, they are great!"

Indeed - to do down a map is to do it a disservice... Oh dear. I'm just making it worse. GP's phraseology was much better. Less talking, more dinner. That's the ticket. Nothing to see here. Move along...

Welcome to the Guild Devin! You should check out the great tokens and character portraits that are being done here:

Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone here better.

I'm not sure if you are thinking of my maps or Snikles maps. I'm attaching some of my maps here.
