Wip Fantasy Book Map - Clients hand-drawn rough version.

Every fantasy book should have a map. This is what I sent the designer for "The Cave Maze" fantasy novel map commission. I will post the final version in "Finished Maps". Is this better, or worse/more, or less then you would need to complete a cool map? (E-book & B/W paper back interior) What do you think about mermaids and serpents in the water? corny, or cool?

Definitely cool. And a great sketch to start a map with, but whether it's more or less than enough depends on the client and artist's preferences.

Good start, I will wait to judge the mermaids and serpent until after I see it further developed
