    Post Furyondy: Watercolor & Ink

Map I made for my D&D game. Watercolor and ink on 9x12 sketchbook paper. The only regret I have is that I didn't use a lettering guide, but I was trying to ink in very tiny letters and it would have taken twice as long. I got impatient. This was a new type of watercolor for me, so I was still getting used to how the color flowed.

Lovely map! You can upload them directly to this site as well by using the paperclip at the top of the advanced editing panel when editing a post.

Welcome to the guild. We don't get many people doing maps start to finish by hand. It's great to see such a lovely map of Greyhawk. Have some rep!

    Welcome Aboard!

As Torstan said we don't get a lot of actual watercolor work posted up - great to see something different, and since you uploaded a map in your very first post I dub thee newly repped *bonk*

Cool, traditional medium makes maps look so much more authentic. Hope to see some more soon

Very nice map, Boatington. This has a great fantasy feel to it. The watercoloring helps of course. Repped!

I'm always jealous of those who can do watercolor cuz mine always looks like a giant blob. Very cool.

Very nice work! The water colors really do make it beautiful. I have much to learn...
