First digital WIP. Style inspired by Bohunk's februari challenge map.

I first try to get a similar feel to the map, and then add my own touch and style.

Your rivers need a lot of work. They split up, flow uphill...

Otherwise, it's a good start, nice & clean.

Rivers generally do not split as they approach the sea - they converge. Many if not most of yours split as they go from the mountains toward the sea - not an uncommon mistake for people new to cartography (I was guilty of this myself for a long time).

Your river shapes look good (all squiggly n stuff) but try putting the forks near the mountains instead of near the coast. If this is a small island then you can leave the deltas as is otherwise move those closer to the coast. Try to get each lake to have one out going river while you can have as many you want flow into it. For the zen approach, think of your river as a tree that grows, starting at the coast, then branching upwards and outwards as it goes inland. I've done an example for ya trying to stay relatively close to your layout.
