Thread: Ahoy!

    Post Ahoy!

So apparently I should do some sort of introduction thing. My primary interest in map-creation is role-playing oriented. I run a lot of White Wolf and 4th Edition D&D and always make my own settings. I feel like a good area map does a lot to make players feel like they have lots of options, rather than always needing to go to that one place they remember the name of.

I'm fairly proficient with several aspects of Photoshop and make most of my maps with the aid of my trusty wacom tablet. I suppose what I'm most interested in improving on is the style of my maps. I need to make buildings and mountains and such have a more interesting representation.

Anyways, I'm attaching some things I've made, enjoy.

    First off... Welcome Aboard!

Since you posted maps in your introductory post I dub thee newly repped *bonk*

Be sure to start thread in the WIP forums as you go.

Its clear that you have some skills with Photoshop, be sure to check out some of the tutorials here there are a bunch of good ones.

You have quite the bevy of styles here. Love the trees in your town map, they are really well done. I think all it needs is some kind of pattern overlay on the buildings and grass and it'll really shine.
