Post Im glad I found THIS SITE!

Hi every one. All I have to say is I have poked around this site from time to time. Till i decided to look through it for longer then 3 seconds I never knew the power this site held for mapping. I have wanted a great way to make coast lines for my D&D maps and I have found a sweet tutorial here "Making Not so Random Coastlines in GIMP" (page 5). You guys are damn good at what you do thanks for letting me join!
P.S I dont know how the rep thing works here yet but I give 90 reps to RobA for the tutorial, great job man.

    Post Welcome!

Welcome to the Guild - glad you decided to spend more than 3 seconds checking the place out. That tutorial by RobA is one of our best!

To give Rep, you click on the "scales" symbol beneath the name of the poster on the left side under the picture. Click on that, a little menu opens, you place the reason for Rep on the entry space than submit. That's it!

Post up a map, even if not finished, we like to look at what you're doing!

Welcome aboard. This is one of my two alternating "homes" on the internet. All of the information here is top notch. Good luck with all your mapping endeavors.

I will stay for more then 3 seconds now. I'm going through your tutorials like I just walked into a treasurer room and you guys made the sweet map to it! I will try to post some of my unfinished hand drawn maps (nothing impressive though). O and if any of you know off hand which tutorials are good for hand drawn stuff please let me know where they are.
