I never intended to map Arnoria, it's not of any major importance to the Etrakien world. But I felt I had to do another overland map after having finished creating the Style for pro fantasy (Well I did the bitmaps and Ralf did all the hard work in CC3). The process really taught me how to think in a different way while making maps in PS. Now I have patterns for a lot of the textures in different layers. Then you can combine them to get the look of the landscape that you're after. Makes the whole process much quicker.

    Well now I'm rambling......

Ok, it's been a long while since I did anything on this map. But the other night I had some time over, and some inspiration :-)

I remember looking at this when I first joined the Guild, and wondering if you were ever gonna finish it! I like the look of it; are those lava rivers flowing down into the dead seas?

Quite the interesting world you have here. I really like the idea of all the major seas being gone and a desert wasteland remaining behind.
