Uhm, thank you for directing me to the help page. I've not seen any reference to the 10 posts. A forum member asked me to send him a private message but if you are right I can't due to my low number of posts... Hm..

The help link was in case i was mistaken about the minimum post rule. It turns out i was slightly. You must post five times before you can send a private message as mentioned by torstan HERE. As a side point it would be very useful if this fact where mentioned in the FAQ section.

Its actually 5 posts and your ability to send PMs should by granted automatically within an hour or so of that. this is basically a way to prevent spammers from spamming our members directly, and has worked well.

Well, poo. Means I have to go set my spamming software to make 5 posts on every forum before I send out the good stuff.

We actually had a spammer try that a bit ago. It didn't work as we banned the member by the time the 5th post had been made.

We have some great members and CLs here!

That said, your stuff would never be considered spam here.

    Just don't get any ideas!

A clever spammer might set the lurker mode on the spambot to reply automatically to new introductions with "Welcome to the Guild!" and then wait... SO much to do, so little time!
