    Yeah I agree that they seem a little faded. I drew them as somewhat of an experiment since I have little experience with mountains. When I first drew them in, I used a low opacity brush, so now even though the layer opacity is set to 100%, they look faded. I don't know what I can do to fix this other than redraw them.

    Post Mountains

    I have to say, this are the best looking mountains I've seen so far.

    Just use your levels and apply a sharpenning filter. Takes some fiddling around. And maybe apply a gaussian blur again. The combination of sharpenning and bluring can give some intresting and unexpected blending results.

    You could try duplicating the levels and stacking them up, not sure if that will work or not.
