Yeah, the village immediately reminded me of Asterix as well. I loved that comic, so great job.

Welcome to the Guild, crazyred. Love your doodles. Any fan of Erol Otus is okay in my books (or should I say sketch pad).
    Cheers,

I like the Winterhaven map, more maps should have this type of detailed illustration, it really helps to understand the map, even if you took some liberties. Very cool.

thanks Turgenev! I agree, they just don't make 'em like Otus anymore.

    Thanks Devin!

Liberties taken? Guilty. But you've gotta make choices when certain things (like text and illustration) don't seem to agree.

Great work. I'm going to use this in my D&D 4e campaign. I am a new DM and really look forward to more of your work.

On a side note, I've poked around quite a bit and haven't been able to find a legend for the map. What do the numbers correspond to?

AH. I love your maps, especially the Lonely Tower, how you illustrate it in isometric so you can see the elevation and the plan. And how it's done like those "how it's made" pics, with the cutaway walls (so you see the wall AND through the wall). Beautiful.

Ah, yeah. That lonely tower looks really cool!
