    Hello Cartographers!

I've just recently gotten into the AD&D 4th Ed. and have been doodling up some maps and stuff over here:

I love your map sketches - that's a very refreshing style. I'm looking forward to seeing Winterhaven finished.

    Welcome to the guild.

    Welcome!
You have some great stuff over at your blog. I especially like the maps (what a surprise eh?), like the one of Nentir Vale. Winterhaven is also brilliantly done, although the style is a bit too cartoony for my taste. Have some rep!

    Thanks for the rep Gand!

Yeah, I think you'll be gettin' mostly cartoony stuff from my corner, but I love all maps. I'm thinking about pursuing the ..... what would you call it? sort of a long-view landscapy elevation, like the "Mapping the Nentir Vale" post. Hopefully I can learn enough Illustrator to get by.

That is some great "sketches" crazyred. Have some rep and welcome to the Guild!
Bill Stickers is innocent! It isn't Bill's fault that he was hanging out in the wrong place.

I'll chime in with another welcome and great work.

Love the style. It seems reminiscent of Asterix written by René Goscinny and illustrated by Albert Uderzo. That was a favourite of mine growing up.

    Thanks.

bingo Sig! I have Asterix at my elbow when I'm drawing stuff like this. The blacksmith's shop (the round building with the haystack roof) is a direct rip-off from the Gaul village.
