    Post Lorrel

    Hello, friends:

Just posting a map I made for an 11th grade student of mine who is writing a fantasy novella (not for publication, just for the enjoyment of the experience).

I created this in Photoshop over two nights; it's a "hack job", really, for I basically lifted elements from 3 or so maps I like, played around with them a tad, added some graphics I sketched over, and voila! I'm not breaking any new ground here, just creating a "book-like", fairly typical map of a hero's journey. Fun to make, though!

    Take care!

Nice! I like the little touches such as the circle stain and flipped up corner.

Yeah pyrandon, you never fail to enlighten us with your creativity every time you set pixel to digispace...such a simple map, and yet so capable of getting its point across as art and function. Nice work!
