    Post Natooga island

Natooga is a different setup compared to my previous creations. I wanted to create an island that is hostile and uninhabited. While there is enough warmth and rain to support life the island is mostly rocks with not enough soil to support bigger plants like bushes and trees.
The scale is quite small, 10meters per pixel, resulting to 20 x 15km map.

I made two variations out from this. The first one is the final result from the WIP and the second one is a conversion into a painting with frames. The painting effect is quite neat when combined with thick paper like effect and nice frames.

That's a great map. I love the use of textures... not overdone and flows nicely.

I am not very experienced, but this map looks very nice. I like the textures and the semi-realistic look. Good job.

Sweet! The second one looks more like a piece of impressionistic art than a map
Reminds of the island of Monte Cristo.
