Thread: Cut-away Orlanthi Steadhouse

  1. #1

    Wip Cut-away Orlanthi Steadhouse

Here is an Orlanthi steadhouse in cut-away form that I have been working on. The Orlanthi are the barbarian culture in Glorantha.

This one is a small farm house type structure with half the stead given over to animal stalls. The younger family members sleep in the 'attic' above the animals while the more important family members sleep in the rooms at the back. The main living room has a central fire pit for cooking and the walls are adorned with weapons and winter survival gear.

Hand drawn with ink in an isometric view.

And saddened. Saddened because I have already repped you earlier, cannot do so for a while

    Post CWBP idea!

First of all, great illustrations! I repped you on your isometric regional map, so I can't here as well. Awesome work!

This makes me think of having similar styled drawings for the typical home in various locations throughout the CWBP, they give volumes of information regarding the culture, technology and the products that a given people have in an illustration like this.

Something to think about for the CWBP anyway...

Very nice work! Love the details. I so envy people that can draw. LOL

This is beautiful! The angle and the skill of the cutaway (and especially the details in the cutaway that expose how the building was built) are amazing.
