Wip New Campaign Map Using CC3

    Hi All,

First post in a long time but ive just started getting some time to do a bit of mapping. Ive attached my latest idea for a campaign map and I wondered if you'd be good enough to give me some feedback. How it can be improved etc would be great.

    Regards....

I know diddly about CC3 but this looks good to me.

Ive used CC since CC1 but I really do like CC3. It has a steep learning curve but can produce some nice maps once you get your head around it.

The annuals (monthly updates) are a great addition as this give different map styles or extra symbols etc. This particular style is from the February/March 2009 issue if i remember correctly.

Aha! So I'm not quite as clueless as my wife likes to believe I am.

    Wip

Well ive now 'zoomed' into an area and detailed a little more as well as changing the font to a more 'fantasy' style one - any advice on improving it ?

Hard to offer critiques to something so well done

having played with this style myself, I found a few things that personally to me I did not like and changed up a bit on my maps.

That being the BLUE halo on the rivers. On my maps I removed the LIGHT blue and replaced with a light blue glow. Gave the same effect, but instead of a HARD transitions, it was softer.
