    Did you use any other pens apart from the already mentioned 5H and HB?
    Also, what kind of paper is this on? The regular, floppy A3?
    Also, I shall steal your hands while you sleep.

    @All: thanks! ^_^
    @Horki: I used 2H to draw a grid and lightly sketch the mountains and the positions of the forests and rivers. I'm not sure how floppy standard floppy A3 is, but I used 160 gr/m^2 paper. I have absolutely no idea how standard that is!

    Ah, thank you. I guess the regular A4 is 80gr/m^2, so I suppose that's about the standard floppiness.
    I should visit my local bookstore for some new tools and materials... A4 is no good for maps .
    Love the forests, by the way. How carefully did you draw each tree? Those must've taken ages.

    Not very I think of it more as a texture than individual trees. When I started drawing maps a few years ago, I used to draw EVERY tree, just like Christopher Tolkien in his maps, but I think it looks too cluttered and is waaaaay too time-consuming. I am Lazy, after all.
    The mountains took a lot longer.
