    Post A hearty greeting

A hearty greeting to you all,
I have just joined the community and look forward to learning from you all. You have a wealth of talented mappers here and I hope by your knowledge that I might be able to breathe the same kind of life into my maps as you have so lushly accomplished with yours. My version of CC3 is in the mail and I'm excited about bringing the visions of our fantasy world to reality. My interest in fantastic cartography stems from my childhood love for fantasy and a dream of a book series my best friend and I have cultivated since our dreamy-eyed boyhood days. My only request is for your patience as I work full time with catastrophic storms right now and I have only one wee hour a night to pour into my mapping for the time being. I will release my own maps and welcome your feedback in due time.

    Glad to be a part,
    --J. L.

Welcome to the guild, we'll be more than patient if you hook us up with some cool vids of storms Lightning, tornados, hurricanes and the such should be more than enough to buy my assistance Kidding aside have a good look around and ask whatever ya need and we'll try to help.

Yeah, If you have words of wisdom about the visual details left by a passing storm or hurricane I'm all ears.

Mapping calamities is difficult - any help?

Dollhouse Syndrome = The temptation to turn a map into a picture, obscuring the goal of the image with the appeal of cute, or simply available, parts. Maps have clarity through simplification.
