I accidentally discovered that you're meant to post on this forum...while looking at maps and their reviews. Thrilling!
In any event, hello.
So I heard about this site from Penny Arcade, got on and saw that impressively hand-drawn featured map (Ysi Earth II), and had to join. I mean, seriously? That thing is BEAUTIFUL.
Anyway, that's pretty much that. I stuck an album up - didn't want to throw in a thread, since most of the things I've posted aren't maps, but instead are rendered images of designed buildings (only one of which also includes a map of the building).
I design mostly for D&D campaigns that never get played, and for novels that never get written.
Hm, I hope Cyrillic works on this forum, or the post title will be something wacky....
Anyway, yeah, I'm here now.
Wow, great stuff there. I like the internal view especially. I used to make those kinds of things with a 3D app for play but they used to take ages to render. Things are a bit faster now tho.
You could have submitted a castle like that in our monthly challenge and last month had a prize. This months one does too but its not just a habitation any more but check it out and see if you can win some stuff.
