    Map [Finished] Grand Cathedral Map

We decided to model our cathedral map after 2 famous churches - Westminster Abbey and St. Paul's Cathedral of the Church of England.

What do you guys think? It look a LOT of work - probably in the 300 hour range.

This is our first map that uses "implied stairs". Mostly because a standard 2-page church would just look awkward with stairs, but we also wanted the larger versions of the map to include second floor gallery, etc. Also, since this map has some 'sideways' tiles the position of the stairs would sometimes be nonsensical. What do you guys think? Does it work perfectly well that moving off the map onto 'implied stairs' causes you to enter the second floor?

Plus you can always dry-erase onto the laminated maps.

Very nice work on this Johs! I can certainly see why it took so long to complete. You've tagged this piece as finished but you hapve posted it in the Virtual Tabletop Section rather than the Finished Maps section. Would you like me to move it for you?

    Cheers,

Sure, if that's the proper place. I thought this was the "Vtt / Battlemaps" section, and the primary place for battlemaps.
