    I'd almost say history is one of my most important hobbies.

    My interest is centered around European hiytory, ranging from the prehistoric megalith monuments (which are quite common around here) to the recent past.
    Especially I'm interested in regional history (aka history of northwestern Germany and the Netherlands) and how the people adapted to the environment.
    Especially because there are differences compared to the standard european history clichés.

    PS: The walls of my living room are full of historical maps.
