    Post May/June Lite Entry: Thakore Sea

    Mostly done in Illustrator. I'm trying something new called keeping track of my layers and maintaining a color palette. The coast started out hand drawn while I was watching a show about the Philippines. Scanned and traced with the pen tool then ceaselessly tweaked.

    Edit: as soon as I figure out why that off-center white border is there it'll be gone...

    I think the color palette, the abstract terrain features, and the border give this map a huge amount of style. I'm liking it a lot. Also it is a really nice coastline you've got there. I can't wait to see more of it!

    I fully agree with msa. Good choice of colors.

    Too many projects going on right now. But here's an update.
    Messed around with it in Gimp some, added texture to an otherwise flat vector image.
