Alternate Reality/Future Earth Political Map

Oh. I do plan on using vector formats, I'm just trying to find the least painful method to go about it. I'll likely use CC3, or else Adobe Illustrator. My goal in the end is to create atlas style political maps.

If you have the budget, you might just want to start with those by buying a base map. I've used these guys in the past, though since then they have changed the terms of their license.

Yeah. Those are a little out of my price range, but they're nice.
