Post Can I use my collection of video game sprites on CC3?

    Hi,

While using Fractal Mapper I learned to import sprites from video games and such, and even made a few myself. Can I transfer my sprites folders into CC3 and CD3?

If the sprites are in PNG format, it can be done.

Once you have the programs, post again, and I will see what I can do to help you out.

Like NeonKnight said, if you can convert them to PNG image files (in a free program like GIMP, for example), they you can use them. You could insert them directly, or more elegantly, you could create a symbol catalog for them. Gerri Broman (The Guild's Shessar) has a PDF tutorial at Profantasy called "Creating Symbol Catalogs from PNG images" that is very helpful:

(scroll down the page - it's near the bottom)

If you do invest in CC3, as you can see folks around here will be more than glad to help you!
