Or it could be why the Water Mage's guild is running the dock wards.

I think the updates look great! There are two classes of boats that are docking here - the river boats and the ocean-vessels.

I can easily see the larger boats maneuvering towards the deep end of the docks - and the closer-in stuff could always be used for the river boats.

And there is always a magic solution to consider as well...

Wip Latest version - nearing the end.

OK, here's today's update. Only significant change is the addition of 'rougher' terrain on the peninsula's that the bridge connects and some of the surrounding terrain.

Still need to 'nail down' the scale.

I think this is a very nice and clear city map, but by far my favorite part is the coloring you use to differentiate between the different areas. It clearly shows the neighborhoods and political layout, without really impacting the style or breaking up the map. Also looks very easy to do as an overlay, which I like. I'm definitely going to remember that.

The only criticism I have is that some of the neighborhoods look a little too much like they are part of an awkward grid. The gray areas in the eastern part of town, in particular. This is in contrast to the two reddish neighborhoods, which I like a lot.

    Wip Latest update

"...and now for something completely different." j/k

No big changes with this update. Finalized the scale and divided up some of the overly large buildings in some of the "neighborhoods".

@msa - I used an old map of Malta as a base for this. Many of the buildings were placed based on the shapes on that map. Some of the areas were more orderly than others. That's why there is a difference.

I'm loving it! It's great to be able to close this project down - and Steel's done a wonderful job.

    Does this mean it's finished?
