    Great find! Especially for guys like me--who have Bryce & DAZ, but have never used them!!!!!

    I assume that since these are 3-D programs, the tutorial could have taken the next step & rendered a perspective view of the city in the tutorial, is that right?

    Absolutely. With some creative camera use a lot more could have been done.

    If you drop a dome prop over the city you could even control the atmosphere of the scene quite a bit.

    The emphasis of the tutorial was to create a map though so that is probably why they didn't go further with it.
