    Link Timeline Generator

I went digging through some of my old links and found this. It used to be savable, but has apparently changed. In any event, it might be of help to those struggling with time lines for their worlds or kingdoms. If nothing else, it might spark something in the imagination.

    Info

Ah, there is still a savable version of the utility, just follow the Mainframes>>World Building link from the main page and it should lead you to a savable version of the utility. Not sure if it works on all platforms, but it does generate a text file that can be saved and edited. The print is pretty small though, so it might need to be enlarged for readability.

If you open the .EXE in notepad and scroll down about 2/3 of the way, you can see a fair amount of the events database in plain text. It's not very extensive.

If I were doing this, I'd allow for some neighboring kingdoms to be named in the initial array, and for the war/peace status to shift back & forth between them, maybe even for neighbors to be conquered by the main kingdom or by other ran-gen neighbors that arise.
