    Post Winterhaven and Fallcrest

    Hello Explorers!

I've been exploring various bits of the Nentir Vale (AD&D 4E) over here:

    http://dandddoodles.blogspot.com/

Winterhaven in particular has gotten some abuse.

As long as I'm riffing off of D&D I guess I won't be posting any finished maps, but I'd love to get some feedback nonetheless.

    Yours in isometricity,

    Crazyred

Already been over - and they are very good indeed. You should post them here (the site allows for filehosting here and it's certainly encouraged).

You can attach them directly using the attachments manager at the top of the advanced editing controls. Also, I see no reason why inspiration from D&D stops you from posting finished maps? You're interpreting a world, not ripping off copyright.

    I love your Winterhaven.

Your work puts me in mind of the sort of thing I've come to expect from Steve Jackson Games. I don't know if you doodle professionally, but if you ever wanted to do some freelancing, I bet you might have a shot there.

Thanks for the boosts guys! Hopefully they might be something you could actually use!

I do remember Steve Jackson games, although I haven't thought of them in years. Didn't they publish Illuminati, the card game? Loved that game....Thanks for the tip!

Yep, that's the company. They also publish Munchkin, which is of what your drawings reminded me.

edit: And I've already inserted Winterhaven into my MapTool campaign file, so have some rep!

A couple more maps over at my blog; the NW quadrant of Fallcrest and the Barony of Harkenwold. Check 'em out, won't you? =)

Very much reminds me of a movie storyboard - great job!

I'm about to start the clean-up on Fallcrest. Any constructive criticism (do they call it PEACH?) I'd appreciate.

PS. I'd also appreciate any tips on how to post thumbs to the forums.....
