Just downloaded Gimp and concidering buying PS.. ouchie

Ive run roleplaying games of one sort or another for about 20 years
Im currently making a new world for a fantasy hero campaign Im concidering running and thought I'd give software mapping a try
    perhaps some cool alpine region...

I've always made due with just quick sketches and hand drawn versions on my notepads

I have to admit some of the maps ive seen in the gallery are breathtaking...

Hah, my sister in law lives near Phoenix. We visit ... not in the summer.

    Welcome! POST YOUR MAPS.

I'm an RP'er too. What systems are you into? I do freeform play-by-post.

Our current 3.5 campaign is about to wrap up after a year. We're planning on dipping into Hero for a mini-campaign and then migrating to Pathfinder as it will be out next month and we are all mightily weary of the once-awesome brokenness of 3.5.

I GM'd Rolemaster back in the day. Way back. Back when we used to play a bit of Battle Tech and Starfleet.
