    Post Tarantia

Finalized version of the continent of Tarantia.

Back into my preferred style again! This is another map that follows the style of an Ascension tutorial, but this time with some of my own twists. Based on the WIP comments, I seem to have accomplished the effect I was after The intent was to have a map that looked like it came off a semi-modern printing press, and has seen a fair amount of use over the last hundred years or so (but carefully rolled and stored rather than folded).

Thanks to everyone for their support and kind comments!

It's not a huge secret really, check out the WIP thread here:

Credit where it's due again, the tutorial I was following was so clearly laid out it's hard NOT to make a good map from it

I just got informed that this map has been discovered hanging in the lobby of a higher-end resort in Jamaica. (what the heck? seriously??)

More details as I uncover them!

I missed this map when you first-posted it and I have to say that it's really nice but is it's name Tirantia as it says in the map or Tarantia as it says in the forum?

I would go with what I put on the map itself, consider the forum spelling as a typo

This is quite nice C-Max, but for me the mountains seem out of place - I think the lines are to 'soft' compared to the rest of the piece.

    *shrugs* just my opinion...
