    Well, I experimented with making the seas darker, and it just didn't look right with the land; too hard to tell where one ended and the other began. So, for now, anyway, I'm going to stay with what's there.

    Here's an update, rivers and forests added.

    And one more update for tonight. Playing around with city icons and text. I'm not happy at all with the city icons; they're more placeholders right now than anything. The text, on the other hand, I think looks pretty decent. I'm trying to keep it to two styles, Home Remedy for nation names, and Roman Antique for terrain features and city names.

    The city icons aren't to bad, my suggested changes would be to;

    - remove or reduce the drop-shadow
    - reduce the opacity of the stroke/glow you have on them

    That's exactly what I was thinking. The stroke is just too bright as is; I'll try and fade it down to around 50% and see how it looks.
