I love that web of streets. I should have you lay out my streets for me from now on...you always have cool ideas for those.
If the radiance of a thousand suns was to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of the Mighty One...I am become Death, the Shatterer of worlds.

Thanks... just something that came to me while I was re-doing it, I didn't want to go maze-like so I chose this. I was a little worried I might have went overboard with it.

Wip Slowly approaching the finish line...

Lot's of of the tedious stuff left to do, though I did make some good headway today (another slow one @ work)...

    1) Re-added the bridges on the 'Golden Pagoda'
    2) Expanded the central road 'web' slightly
    3) Added the 'Downtown' district
    4) Added various buildings to castle grounds
    5) Began adding the 'Residential' district.
    6) Added more Warehouses, and various inns, taverns, wells, guard posts etc.

I decided to treat each residential "block" as its own little compound with a central area within the 'ring' of houses, etc. The houses along the canals are something similar to row houses where most of the rest are separate buildings.

    Still to do:
    1) Finish 'Residential' district(s)
    2) Finish 'Samurai' district
    3) 'Dirty Up' the areas in between buildings
    4) Farm houses/small village(s) on far side of river.
    5) Various other little details that can wait until the very end

Well I think I can get it finished by tomorrow afternoon, it'll be close though.

    Map Whew! Finished At Last!

Well I managed to get enough done on this that I feel it's worthwhile.

There are a lot of things that if I had more time I would go back and tweak, but overall I'm pretty happy.
