    Post Newbie introduction

    Hi everyone.

I'm new to the guild and digital mapping, but have been gaming, paper mapping, and world building for 20+ years or so. I have a lot to learn about digital mapping, so I'll just sit by quietly for a while, obsoive, glean protocols and suggestions, etc.

    Looking forward to it!

Welcome to the guild. Make sure you download GIMP and Inkscape. They are both free and many of the tutorials use them.

And speaking of the finished map thread...IT IS AWESOME. Sometimes I just stare and wonder how they made these awesome maps.
