    Post Amphiteatre (3d)

This is a model I made quite some time ago, it cost me a lot of work but I think the outcome is quite good.

Yeah, that's pretty good. Make more models like that and you could make a city in Sketchup

    Nice amphiteather, very elegant.

    Sketchup is pretty darn fun.

If you've ever worked with a 3d prog before, it'll settle in nicely, and if you haven't, it's actually pretty easy anyhow - and there are good tutorials.

It's more a matter of getting myself to sit down and spend the time to play with it. Even my urge/desire to map has been sliding lately.

No, I just go through these "dry spells" every once in awhile. I get burnt out on doing things and take a short break, but getting myself restarted is worse than dragging myself out of bed in the morning.

That's why I've been pushing myself to get the maps for my homebrew world redone.

Edit: Eeek, sorry for the threadjack Jaspertjie...

I NEED 20 CCs OF MAPPING TUTORIALS STAT!!!

On a more serious note... that is awesome. I've worked in 3ds max before and it is much more time intensive than a 2d mapping program... but the results can be incredible.
