    Post Hello all!

Hello folks. I have always been fascinated by maps and find their use in fantasy novels to be quite interesting. I am a complete newbie to the world of digital art but I would like to learn more. I look forward to chatting with all of you and hopefully pick up some tips regarding cartography.

Hello, Japes, and welcome. What kind of graphics tools do you use? Software? Mechanical media?

Thank you, Toff! I am a complete beginner to this but have been fooling around with Photoshop for a bit. I have a Wacom Tablet that I bought to make aircraft illustrations but really have yet to use it. I have no digital art or cartography experience other than a long standing interest in both.
