Hello all! Been tabletop gaming since the Reagan admin, just started map designing recently. Excited to learn lots from here. I've only made one map so far using Photoshop 7.0. Thanks!

Not bad! has a very frontier/wildwest feel to it.

    Welcome Aboard!

Quite good for a first attempt.

Lovely colour choices! My only small crit (and it is a fantasy map so as you wish!) is the distribution of the houses. That's the hardest thing to get right in city maps and I'm still a long way from finding that particular grail. For the theory check out the link in my sig about depiction of fantasy cities - the practice is very hard indeed (for me anyway).

    - great work so far!
