Post What's Your Favorite All-Time Village Map?

What is your top favorite map of a medieval village in a beautiful setting? Can you attach a link? I’d love to see great examples from the Guild or outside.

Two separate publishers asked me to do two sets of maps each, all with deadlines at the same time. It’s too much work, and I’m trying to decide which, if either, I have time to undertake. One set is for a sci-fi setting depicting an entire planet (all sides, I'd assume) and, separately, one continent of that planet enlarged and detailed. The other is a set of two maps showing a small, medieval farming village amidst bucolic countryside in summertime. The first shows the village pristine and thriving, the second when its abandoned and being slowly retaken by nature.

I’m casting about for inspiration to help me decide, I thought I’d ask here for everyone’s favorites. I’ll post a similar thread asking about planet and continent maps in the Regional/World Mapping forum.

Nothing springs to mind mapwise, but in terms of look and feel, have you seen the Hovis Advert directed by Ridley Scott ? (You tube will show it to you - it's the all time favourite advert in the UK). That's a brilliant emotional feel of a small town / village and might give you some inspiration.

The second one is pretty good too (but not very villagy): Link here.

There is a medieval village in Wales called Cosmeston. Google images of that might give you something to work with too.

This is exactly what (I think it was Devin) was suggesting for a challenge. Maybe that could be Septembers...

I don't know if I really have an all-time favorite, but here's one I did last year that I'm pretty proud of.

I would have to say either Liberty or Deepwatch by Christopher West.

There are also a number of really nice village maps on these boards.
Two of my personal favorites are Ascension's Snagglefjord and mox404's Oakvale.

Dungeon No. 103 has become the most dog-eared of my entire collection because of The Town of Deepwatch! I'm presently using it as the first location in the Pathfinder game I run for my two daughters. I'm delighted to see Christopher West has it back up on his website. He'd rotated it out the last time I looked.

Thanks for the links, Armoredgear7. These are great!

    Thanks, AG7 and Ashenvale!

Deepwatch is one of my personal favorites as well.

I once found a gem of a city map on Deviantart, but can't find it anymore, unfortunately...
Anyway some of the city maps I like:

Your Liberty City map... I have seen that map popup lots of times in Google images, when browsing for maps.

    Coyotemax's city:
