The best reference that our project group has for developing historically accurate cities, villages, settlements, equipment, tools, etc., is a German language book by Dr. Konrad Bedal called "Häuser aus Franken" (Franconian Buildings). A new edition has been released, and we have it. So we'd like to get the previous edition into the hands of someone who can make use of it. The new edition in no way invalidates the older one; it just has a few more buildings added. It has 304 pages filled with photos, floor plans and explanations of how things were built and why they were built in that manner. It's free to the first person here who asks for it.
