A wizard steps in...

Hi all,

I would like to introduce myself first.
Age? Good for cheese and wine...
Sex? Doesn't matter, but thank you for your concern...
Location? Northern Germany - unless I am caught in my fantasy world...

Ok seriously:
I bought the amazing program Campaign Carthographer and now I am searching for some ideas on the internet.

Why did I come here?

Also I am currently writing a fantasy novel. I started in 1998 by designing a module for Neverwinter Nights - during that time I developed the base storyline.
Then there was the time to concentrate more on the aspects of the story. It turned out to become a huge work of five books located in a world like the Forgotten Realms.

Basically I am looking for background information:
Political, historical and economical facts, nations, creatures and so on.
I need to round up and close gaps on side quests and personal history of the people/nations in this novel.
(Prior asking - I never finished the NWN module - It just contained the basic story from beginning to end.)

Hope you got an idea what a german wizard is doing here
