    Post The Thelonian Empire

This has been an epic project that I started working on over four months ago, and it feels pretty good to have finally crossed the finish line. When I started out I had very limited experience with Photoshop and Illustrator, but really picked up both programs as I worked on the project.

I was inspired by the work of HandsomeRob and used his great tutorial to start out my map, and then went off in my own direction a bit. The setting is one I may use for a novel at some point (if I ever get around to writing it). I wanted the map to have a very atlas-like vibe so that it would give the setting a historical feel, like the map belonged in a modern day text book or something.

Many thanks to all those who gave suggestions and comments while the map was a WIP.
