    Post Torrilan, the Forsaken Lands

Here's a map I made a long time ago for a campaign setting. It's mostly hand drawn, but I cleaned it up, added the text and paper effect in Photoshop. I also figured I should post something here since I'm requesting help. It's only fair after all.

I dig it. Have some rep.

Always good to see maps that look like they might have been drawn by the folks living in the lands depicted. From the first time I saw the map in Lord of the Rings I was hooked...I think I was about 9-10 and I spent most of that summer drawing a full-sized copy with a nib pen...I remember the pain

Looks really nice. I like your parchment and the crease in the middle.

    Great first shared map.

Dollhouse Syndrome = The temptation to turn a map into a picture, obscuring the goal of the image with the appeal of cute, or simply available, parts. Maps have clarity through simplification.

Thanks a lot! I know what you mean about the pens...I have a really nice fine point one and used it on this...took a wicked long time and had some serious hand cramps.
