    Praise August Challenge Voting

This months competition has drawn to a close, and now we can vote on a record breaking mapping challenge as far as number of entries! All of the entries were very well done, and I'm sure they will be appearing in maps in the near future! Good job participants!

Remember the contest guidelines and specifications:
Create a decorative yet functional compass rose.

    Guidelines:
    • Entry should be a useable compass rose with some level of transparency for placing on a map.
    • PNG format is preferred due to its anti-aliased transparency capability.
    • Bonus consideration for submitting an entry large enough for use in printable maps thus allowing anyone to use your entry.
    • Bonus consideration for providing additional information about your entry such as a background or citing a style reference.

Unfair... three of them (well, two if you don't count mine) are overlaid on one of my maps. Of course I tend to favour them.

Well, that means if any of those three win, you can say you had a part in it hehe... unless you're not just joking and really think its unfair?

No, it was unfair to me, because I wanted to vote for one of them, obviously. See, if only ONE of them had done it, it would have been fine because that one would have had my vote just because I'm vain and like seeing people working with my maps.

Hmm...see, the problem is, you waited till now to mention that, so its not really much I can do.

Yeah, next time don't use one of my maps, and I won't have the problem of choosing who to vote for.

    (all in jest of course)

hmmmmm....I might have used one of yours....I just grabbed a map at random (my bad)

I was actually looking for a modern/science fiction style map for my modern but sadly, found that style to be rather lacking in the forums....(perhaps a future challenge might increase the count?)

    No no! Not bad!

I find it incredibly flattering that my maps are used for this. The problem is that I then want to vote for one of the ones on my maps, and since more than one entry used my maps, I was torn as to which to vote for.

    Good day,

I'm trying to craft my September Contest for PlotStorming.com. Since we're trying to mesh our contests this month using the winners from lat month... I was wondering if I could use a picture of the winning entry in my post. I would cite the creator, and give a link back to the original post.
